As soon as you enter the Ballinastoe Woods, you get this mystical feeling of instant connection with nature (unless there is heavy rainfall). My intention was to capture a neat wide angle shot long exposure with subtle subject and as you can see, there are 2 types of trees, the standing ones and the fallen ones. This dynamic frame caught my attention instantly and couldn't avoid freezing this moment.

Although I made a mistake of leaving my 6 Stop ND filter behind and using 10 Stop ND filter really tested my skills. There was no constant rain, but the droplets keep falling of the branches which is really irritation when you are trying to capture 4 mins 30 Seconds Long Exposure. Fortunately, My Nikkor 17-28mm F/2.8 is Weather sealed and Nikon Z6 Camera body is a beast, I got the output I was looking for.

This horizontal wide angle photograph is HDR merge of 3 different exposures. I am yet to learn bracketing and multiple exposure but for long exposures of 4 - 5 mins, capturing manually felt sensible. All of my photographs are processed in Adobe Photoshop CC Desktop version.

I almost risked my life while capturing the above landscape by hitting the brakes on my car on uphill with dozen cars behind me into a roadside parking spot. After going through the output, I felt it was worth the adrenaline rush.
